Your Hyperbaric Oxygen Session

Pre-Session Consultation

Your first session begins with a clinical assessment. We review your health history, confirm the absence of contraindications (including ear conditions or untreated pneumothorax), and establish your treatment objectives. A personalised protocol is agreed before you enter the chamber.

 

Chamber Entry & Pressurisation

You enter our private chamber in comfortable clothing. The pressurisation phase takes approximately 10–15 minutes as pressure increases to therapeutic levels. You will feel a mild sensation in your ears — similar to an aircraft descent — which resolves naturally.

Oxygen Therapy at Pressure

You breathe pure oxygen via a mask or hood at 2.0 ATA. This is the therapeutic phase. Most patients read, rest, or listen to audio during this period. The environment is quiet, private, and consistently comfortable.

Depressurisation & Review

Pressure is gradually reduced and then you will exit the chamber. Your practitioner will conduct a brief post-session review — noting any immediate responses and confirming next-session scheduling.
