What Is This Treatment?
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gel treatments that restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth static lines — those visible even when your face is at rest. At Aspire, we use only premium hyaluronic acid fillers, a substance naturally present in your skin that attracts and retains moisture, creating fullness and hydration from within.
Unlike anti-wrinkle injections that relax muscles, fillers physically restore volume where it has been lost. As we age, facial fat diminishes, bone density reduces, and collagen production slows — resulting in hollowing, sagging, and deepening lines. Strategic filler placement can reverse these changes, lift sagging tissue, and create balanced, harmonious proportions.
Our philosophy centres on enhancement, not transformation. We respect your natural facial structure, ethnic features, and individual proportions. Whether restoring youthful fullness, refining specific features, or rebalancing facial harmony, our approach emphasises subtlety — the kind of result where people notice you look well, not that you have had treatment.
“Strategic volume placement creates natural lift and youthfulness — never artificial fullness.”
Ideal Candidates
Is Dermal Filler Treatment Right for You?
Dermal fillers are appropriate for a wide range of aesthetic and restorative objectives. The following indicators suggest you may benefit from a personalised treatment plan.
All suitability is confirmed at an initial consultation with our aesthetic practitioner, who will assess your facial anatomy, discuss your goals, and recommend the most appropriate approach.
- Restoring volume lost through ageing Hollowing in the cheeks, temples, or under-eye area creates a drawn, fatigued appearance that skincare alone cannot address. Strategic volume replacement lifts and revitalises without altering your natural features.
- Softening deep static lines visible at rest Nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other creases that remain visible even when your face is relaxed respond exceptionally well to precise filler placement.
- Enhancing or restoring lip shape and volume Whether refining natural lip contour, correcting asymmetry, or restoring fullness lost with age — results should be proportionate, hydrated, and unmistakably yours.
- Seeking facial contouring without surgery Jawline definition, cheekbone structure, chin projection, and profile balance can all be refined non-surgically, with results that are immediately visible and fully reversible.
- Addressing under-eye hollowing and dark circles Tear troughs that create persistent shadow and fatigue — even when well rested — can be corrected with advanced technique in this delicate area.
- Preferring reversible, no-downtime enhancement Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved if needed, providing a safety net that surgical alternatives cannot. Most patients return to normal activity immediately.
Your Journey
Your Dermal Filler Treatment Journey
Comprehensive Consultation
Detailed facial assessment — analysing your bone structure, fat-pad distribution, volume-loss patterns, and proportions. We discuss your specific concerns and aesthetic goals, take photographs from multiple angles, and explain which areas would benefit most from treatment, which filler types are appropriate, and what to realistically expect.
Personalised Treatment Planning
Based on your assessment, we design a customised treatment plan. We show you where we recommend placement, explain expected outcomes, and discuss whether treatment should be staged across sessions or completed comprehensively. You receive transparent pricing including product type and volume required. We never pressure — many patients prefer to consider their options before proceeding.
Pre-Treatment Preparation
We thoroughly cleanse and disinfect treatment areas, then apply topical numbing cream and allow 15–20 minutes for it to take effect. Most fillers also contain lidocaine for additional comfort during injection. We review the plan once more and confirm you are comfortable to proceed.
Injection Treatment
Using fine needles or blunt-tip cannulas depending on area and technique, we carefully inject filler in precise locations and depths. We work systematically, pausing to assess symmetry and volume as we proceed. Most patients describe pressure and mild discomfort rather than sharp pain. For lip treatment, we offer dental nerve blocks for maximum comfort.
Moulding and Shaping
After injection, we gently massage and mould the filler to ensure smooth distribution and the desired contour. This step is essential for natural-looking results and preventing any irregularity.
Immediate Assessment
We provide a mirror so you can see initial results. Immediate appearance includes some swelling — final results appear once swelling subsides, typically within 3–7 days for most areas and up to 14 days for lips. We explain what to expect and provide detailed aftercare instructions.
Results and Follow-Up
Results are immediately visible but continue refining as swelling resolves and product integrates with your tissues. We schedule a complimentary 2-week follow-up to assess results and perform any refinements if needed. Duration varies by product and area: typically 6–18 months.

What We Treat & Who It Suits
Where Can Fillers Be Used?
Lip Enhancement
Volume, shape, definition, symmetry
Add natural-looking volume to thin lips, enhance shape and definition, correct asymmetry, and smooth fine perioral lines. Results last 6–12 months. Ideal if: You want fuller, more defined lips that still look and feel natural — or you have lost lip volume with age and want to restore soft, hydrated fullness.
Cheek Augmentation
Mid-face volume and contour
Restore volume to flattened or hollow cheeks, enhance cheekbone definition, and lift the mid-face. Creates youthful fullness and sculpted contours. Results last 12–18 months. Ideal if: You have noticed your face looks flatter or more drawn than it once did, or you want more defined cheekbone structure.
Nasolabial Folds
Smile lines — nose to mouth corners
Softens deep smile lines and creates a smoother transition from cheek to lower face. Often treated alongside cheek enhancement for a natural lifting effect. Results last 9–12 months. Ideal if: Deep lines from nose to mouth make you appear older or more tired than you feel — especially at rest.
Jawline Contouring
Definition, sculpting, profile
Define and sculpt the jawline, correct asymmetry, and enhance jaw-angle definition for a more structured appearance. Non-surgical alternative to implants. Results last 12–18 months. Ideal if: You want sharper jaw definition or a more balanced profile — without surgery, without downtime.
Tear Troughs
Under-eye hollowing and dark circles
Fills hollows beneath the eyes that create shadows and a tired appearance, even when well rested. Requires advanced technique in this delicate area. Results last 12–18 months. Ideal if: You look exhausted despite sleeping well — and concealer alone is no longer enough.
Chin Enhancement
Projection, balance, profile
Add projection to a recessed chin, create better facial balance, and improve profile aesthetics. A non-surgical alternative to chin implants, fully reversible. Results last 12–18 months. Ideal if: You want a stronger, more balanced profile and have considered surgical options but prefer a reversible, no-downtime approach.
Clinical Excellence
Advanced Techniques & Premium Products
-
Premium Hyaluronic Acid Fillers Only
We use exclusively MHRA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers from world-leading manufacturers: Juvéderm® (Allergan), Restylane® (Galderma), Belotero® (Merz), and Teosyal® (Teoxane). Product selection is tailored to treatment area, tissue depth, and desired outcome.
-
Cannula and Needle Technique
We select technique based on area and desired outcome — often combining both in a single session. Blunt-tip cannulas reduce bruising risk and treat larger areas from a single entry point. Sharp needles provide more precise placement for detailed work in lips, nose, and jawline.
-
Three-Dimensional Assessment
We assess from every angle — front, profile, three-quarter view — to ensure harmonious enhancement from every perspective. Filler placement affects facial appearance three-dimensionally, and this comprehensive assessment is what distinguishes natural results from obvious ones.
-
Conservative, Layered Approach
Our philosophy favours less product, strategically placed, with the option to refine at your follow-up. Overfilling is far harder to correct than adding incrementally. This layered approach produces the most natural, balanced outcomes.
Transformation Through Subtle Enhancement
“I have always had thin lips and felt self-conscious. My lips are beautifully enhanced but still look like me — just the fuller version I always wanted. Friends say I look wonderful but cannot pinpoint what has changed. That is exactly what I hoped for.”
Transformation Through Subtle Enhancement
“I never imagined I would try aesthetic treatments, but volume loss made me look gaunt and older than I felt. Cheek and jawline filler restored a more vital, youthful appearance. The results are natural and masculine — I feel more confident in every meeting.”
Transformation Through Subtle Enhancement
“My under-eye hollows made me look permanently exhausted. Tear trough filler was genuinely life-changing — I look refreshed and healthy. The treatment required precise technique, and I am glad I chose experienced practitioners who understood this delicate area.”
Transformation Through Subtle Enhancement
“As someone with a weak chin, I had considered surgical implants but was not ready for that commitment. Chin filler gave me a stronger profile and better facial balance. It looks completely natural, and I appreciate that it is reversible. I am thrilled with the result.”
Common Questions
Dermal Filler Questions
-
Do dermal fillers hurt?
Discomfort is generally mild to moderate. We apply topical numbing cream before treatment, and most fillers contain lidocaine for additional comfort during injection. Most patients describe pressure and brief stinging rather than significant pain. For lip treatment, we offer dental nerve blocks — the same numbing technique used in dentistry — for maximum comfort. Pain level: 3–5 out of 10 for most areas with proper numbing.
-
How long do results last?
Duration varies by product, treatment area, and individual metabolism. Lips typically last 6–12 months; nasolabial folds and marionette lines 9–12 months; cheeks, jawline, and chin 12–18 months. Lifestyle factors, exercise levels, and injection technique all influence longevity. We recommend maintenance appointments before results fully fade for sustained appearance.
-
Will I look overfilled or unnatural?
Not with our approach. The overfilled appearance results from excessive volume, incorrect product placement, or poor technique — all of which we actively avoid. We use conservative amounts, strategically placed, for natural-looking enhancement. You can always add more at your follow-up; removing excess is far more difficult.
-
Can filler be dissolved if I am unhappy?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase enzyme injection. Dissolution can be complete or partial to adjust volume. This reversibility provides an important safety net and peace of mind. Note: dissolution may cause temporary swelling, and your own natural hyaluronic acid may be partially affected, though it returns to normal within weeks.
-
How much filler will I need?
This is highly individual. Some patients achieve their goals with 1ml; others require 3–5ml for comprehensive treatment. Typical volumes: lips 0.5–1.5ml, nasolabial folds 1–2ml, cheeks 1–3ml per side, jawline 2–4ml, chin 1–2ml. Your consultation includes a specific recommendation based on your anatomy and goals.
-
Is there downtime after filler treatment?
Minimal, though this varies by area and individual response. Swelling is typically mild to moderate, worst at 24–48 hours, and resolves within 3–7 days (up to 14 days for lips). Bruising is possible but often avoidable with cannula technique; if present, it fades within 7–10 days. Most patients return to work immediately.
-
What is the difference between filler and anti-wrinkle injections?
They are completely different products for different purposes. Anti-wrinkle injections relax muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles — lines that appear when you express emotion. Fillers add volume to restore fullness, enhance features, and fill static lines visible at rest. Many patients benefit from both treatments together — they are complementary, not alternatives.
