Your Smile By Design
About the Service

Your Smile, By Design

Cosmetic dentistry at its finest is not about transformation for its own sake. It is the careful, considered improvement of what is already there — enhancing proportion, refining detail, and restoring confidence in a result that looks and feels entirely natural. The Aspire cosmetic philosophy begins with restraint: we do not remove healthy tooth structure unless there is a genuine aesthetic or clinical reason to do so, and we do not recommend change where none is needed.

Our cosmetic offering spans the full scope of aesthetic dental treatment: professional whitening, porcelain veneers, composite bonding, gum contouring, and comprehensive smile design for patients seeking a more complete transformation. Each is undertaken with meticulous attention to facial proportion, tooth morphology, and the relationship between a smile and the face it belongs to. The aim is never a result that draws attention to itself — it is a smile that draws attention to you.

For patients whose aesthetic goals extend beyond the smile, Aspire’s integrated setting makes a genuinely joined-up approach possible. Our dental and aesthetics teams share a building, a philosophy, and in many cases a patient — and can plan treatment across both disciplines in a single, coordinated conversation. The result is a cohesion that treating each element separately rarely achieves.

"The finest cosmetic dentistry is invisible as treatment — visible only as confidence. "
Is This Right for You?

Who Cosmetic Dentistry Is For

Discoloured or stained teeth Surface staining from coffee, wine, or tobacco, or deeper intrinsic discolouration, addressed through professional whitening or veneers depending on the nature and extent of the change

Chipped, worn, or uneven teeth Minor chips, edge wear, or asymmetry that changes the character of a smile — often addressable conservatively through composite bonding without any tooth reduction

Gaps or spacing Diastemas or generalised spacing that are an aesthetic concern but do not necessarily require orthodontic treatment

Teeth that appear short or disproportionate Teeth that look small relative to the smile or arch — commonly improved through composite bonding, veneers, or gum contouring to restore proportion

Visible or aged restorations Older amalgam fillings or deteriorated restorations that are visible when smiling and affect the aesthetic quality of the smile

Gum line imbalance A gummy smile or uneven gum line affecting the symmetry and proportion of the smile, addressed through gum contouring as part of a wider smile design

A comprehensive smile makeover Patients seeking aesthetic improvement across multiple teeth or the full smile — combining whitening, bonding, veneers, or contouring within a single planned course of treatment

Those preparing for a significant occasion Patients ahead of a wedding, career event, or milestone moment for whom a considered smile improvement is a meaningful personal investment

A cosmetic dental consultation at Aspire begins with listening — to what you want to change, and equally to what you want to keep. Enhancement is the goal; replacement of what makes your smile yours is not.

Cosmetic Dentistry Is For
What to Expect

Your Cosmetic Dentistry Appointment

Phase 1

The Consultation

Your smile consultation is an extended conversation as much as a clinical appointment. We discuss your aspirations and concerns, take clinical photographs, and — where relevant — use digital smile design to model potential outcomes. For patients combining cosmetic with other dental or facial aesthetic treatment, we map the optimal sequence from the outset. You will not leave with a treatment plan you were not expecting: the conversation comes first, and the plan follows when you are ready.

Phase 2

Design, Preview, and Approval

Where digital smile design is used, modelled outcomes allow you to visualise proposed changes before committing to any irreversible treatment. For veneer and bonding cases, a physical mock-up may be fabricated directly on the teeth at a dedicated appointment — allowing you to see and feel the proposed result in your own mouth in three dimensions. We do not proceed with irreversible cosmetic treatment without your informed, considered approval.

Phase 3

After Treatment

Cosmetic dental work is reviewed at your routine dental appointments and maintained as part of your ongoing care. We provide comprehensive aftercare guidance at each stage: which habits and products to modify, how to clean and protect the restorations, and when to return for review. Many treatments have a long and predictable lifespan with appropriate care. For patients wishing to continue their aesthetic journey — combining dental and facial treatments over time — our integrated team is available for ongoing planning.

Step by Step

The Cosmetic Dentistry Journey at Aspire

01
Smile Consultation

An extended consultation reviews your concerns, your aspirations, and the aesthetic context of your whole face. We take detailed clinical photographs and discuss the treatments appropriate to your situation. We listen first and recommend second. Where treatment across both the dental and aesthetics disciplines is being considered, we introduce this conversation at the outset so that nothing is planned in isolation.

Digital Smile Design and Mock-Up

For veneer, bonding, and smile makeover cases, digital smile design tools allow changes to tooth length, shade, shape, and proportion to be modelled on your clinical photographs before any treatment begins. Where a physical mock-up is appropriate, composite resin is applied temporarily to the teeth at a dedicated appointment, translating the digital plan into a real-world preview you can see, feel, and approve before any irreversible step is taken.

02
03
Preparatory Treatment

Where orthodontic alignment, periodontal treatment, or restorative work is required before cosmetic treatment, this is addressed first. We do not place aesthetic restorations on an unhealthy or misaligned foundation. Professional whitening, where it is part of the plan, is typically performed before veneers or bonding to establish the target shade and allow the restoration shade to be matched accordingly.

Cosmetic Treatment

Planned cosmetic treatments are delivered in the agreed sequence. Veneer cases involve a preparation appointment, a laboratory fabrication period of typically two to three weeks, and a fit appointment with final chairside adjustments. Composite bonding is frequently completed within a single appointment. Gum contouring, where part of the plan, is performed before veneer placement. Progress photographs are taken at key stages throughout treatment.

05
Review, Maintenance, and Continued Aesthetic Planning

Cosmetic restorations are reviewed at your routine dental appointments. Whitening results are easily refreshed with take-home trays; composite bonding can be polished and refined over time; porcelain veneers, with appropriate care, are a long-lasting investment. For patients who wish to develop their aesthetic results further — through facial injectable treatments, skin care, or additional dental work — our integrated team plans the next steps in the same considered way as the first.

Patient Stories

What Our Patients Tell Us

I had been self-conscious about my smile for years before I finally came to Aspire. What I valued most was that they listened first — I did not feel I was being sold a treatment plan. The composite bonding was conservative, looked completely natural, and changed how I feel about my smile entirely.

What Our Patients Tell Us

I had veneers done elsewhere years ago and was never happy with how apparent they looked. When they needed replacing, I came to Aspire. The difference in approach was striking — the new veneers are indistinguishable from natural teeth. Colleagues noticed I looked somehow different, but could not say why. That is exactly what I had hoped for.

What Our Patients Tell Us

I combined a smile consultation with a facial aesthetics appointment at Aspire — the teams discussed my case together, which meant the results worked as a complete picture rather than two separate treatments. The combined effect was genuinely remarkable and far more considered than anything I could have planned separately.

Alignment is frequently the first step in a comprehensive cosmetic treatment plan. Well-positioned teeth are the ideal canvas for bonding, veneers, and whitening — and the longevity of cosmetic work is significantly improved by addressing alignment first.
