Nabeel Ilyas is a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry and Head of Service at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, based primarily at Birmingham Dental Hospital. He graduated from King’s College London in 2015 and went on to complete training in general practice, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and both paediatric and restorative dentistry across leading UK centres.
He completed his specialist training at King’s College Hospital alongside an MSc with Distinction in Paediatric Dentistry. Nabeel has a particular interest in dental trauma, managing anxious children and the use of inhalation sedation. He is known for his calm, reassuring approach and has published widely, including award-winning work recognised by Dental Trauma UK.
